We wanted to share a little update on Gypsy — a cat whose story is still unfolding, one small step at a time.

Gypsy is extremely nervous, having clearly been through more than her fair share of hardship. We’re being patient, letting her set the pace. Today was one of those small, hopeful moments: the blanket came up, and as soon as her food went down, she began to eat. It may not seem much to some, but to us — and to Gypsy — it was a big step forward.

We didn’t want to stress her with lights or movement, so rather than a video, we snapped a quiet photo to capture the moment. Sometimes, progress isn’t loud or dramatic. Sometimes, it’s just a gentle sign that trust is starting to build.

Gypsy still has a long road ahead, but she’s on it now — and we’ll be with her every step of the way.
