Poppy’s Story: 12-Year-Old Ragdoll Rescued After Six Months Straying

Say hello to our latest rescue — Poppy, a 12-year-old Ragdoll with the sweetest soul and the saddest story.

Poppy has been trying to survive on her own for the past six months. When she came into our care, she was painfully thin, clearly having struggled without consistent food, shelter or love. We were able to trace her owner, but sadly they were no longer in a position to care for her.

Despite everything she’s been through, Poppy is gentle and affectionate. She’s now safe, warm, and getting all the care she needs — but the road to recovery will be a long one. It’s likely to take months before she’s strong and healthy again.

If you can help, even a £1 donation will go a long way towards supporting her rehabilitation. Every penny goes directly towards food, veterinary care, and the love she deserves.

We’ll keep you updated on Poppy’s progress as she starts to gain weight and rebuild trust in the world. For now, she’s resting, recovering, and finally safe.

Please donate if you’re able — and thank you, as always, for being part of the Feline Network family.
