Who remembers our lovely Poppy?

She had another vet visit on Friday as we’re still very concerned about her lack of progress. Sadly, there’s been no clear improvement following her course of Panacur, and she remains incontinent, with ongoing issues with very unpleasant diarrhoea.

She’s currently on a gut-friendly diet with added tree barks powder to help support her digestion, and we’ve now submitted three stool samples for further analysis in the hope of identifying what’s going on.

Her weight is now 4lb 7oz, which is just a 1oz gain – not what we had hoped for. As you can see from her photo, her tail is in a terrible state, which is heartbreaking.

Poppy continues to be treated with love and patience, but she’s clearly not out of the woods yet.
