When this picture came into the shop, we got a little bit excited… until we took a closer look and realised (as expected) it was a print. Just imagine if it had been an original – we’d have been looking at a very different price tag indeed.

If you’ve not come across Louis Wain before, he was an English artist born in 1860, best known for his wonderfully eccentric drawings of cats and kittens, often portrayed with human expressions and surreal settings. A quick Google search of his name will give you a glimpse into his fascinating (and slightly bonkers) body of work.

This charming print may not be worth a fortune, but it’s still a brilliant find – and it’s currently for sale in the shop for just £7.00.
