Today is Black Cat Appreciation Day – a time to celebrate our sleek, shadowy companions who are sadly often overlooked in rescue. One of those is Niko, a beautiful young black cat who’s been in foster care for far too long, with very little interest.

We’ll be sharing a full update on Niko soon (and hopefully some clearer photos – he’s a whirlwind of mischief and fun, so getting him to sit still for the camera is no easy task!).
