It’s now been five weeks since lovely Poppy came into our care, and we’re pleased to say she’s starting to look more like a cat again!

Her fur is slowly growing back, and she’s gained a small but positive amount of weight. Her appetite remains good, which is encouraging.

However, we’re still battling ongoing digestive issues. Poppy is currently on a detox and fish-based diet to try and calm things down, and we’re really hoping this will help. If not, we may need to consider an ultrasound scan as the next step.

Through it all, she remains an absolute sweetheart, affectionate, sociable, and wonderfully nosey! She loves attention and is always keen to see what’s going on.

We’re also getting through an incredible number of puppy pads at the moment, if anyone is able to donate a pack, we’d be hugely grateful. Every bit of help really does make a difference.
